RESPONSIBILITIES

TASKS

Research & Analysis

 

  • Liaise with Product Principals to gain full understanding of product range and attend Principal’s meetings where necessary and appropriate;
  • Research and analyze market conditions;
  • Articulate market requirements and opportunities;
  • Identify opportunities for new and existing products, innovations and product enhancements;
  • Analyze and collate sales and marketing data;
  • Proactively identify environmental changes and adjust strategies accordingly;

Product Marketing

 

  • Assist in launching products with product managers and cluster heads effectively to the relevant target segment and control for success;
  • To organize, manage and follow through on any seminars and exhibitions assigned to by the company;
  • Roll out promotional activities with cluster heads; conduct product presentations, assist and support in-services and develop training programs for selected agency products as well as product evaluation trials and survey feedback for new product developments;
  • Manage and monitor samples and demo units’ order and utilization;
  • Provide sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product, providing them with printed and electronic promotional materials, product training, and relevant clinical papers;
  • Be responsible for sales performance of the assigned care areas;
  • Closely liaison with the sales team to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure these materials are being used optimally;
  • Supply sales with latest research and marketing information;
  • Implement marketing plan in conjunction with all departments;
  • Drive ongoing improvement in sales and profitability;

Customer & People management

 

  • Maintain regular contact with the Principal supplier to secure relations, develop trust and understanding, to share experience, negotiate support and resource allocation;
  • Regularly give and receive updates from the Principal supplier of the sales campaign progress and developments;
  • Continuously review industry trends, analyze competition and client feedback to anticipate future market needs;
  • Manage, escalate and resolve products and field issues with principals and internal departments (FSS, BES,…);
  • Update and support FSS team for product changes throughout product life cycle;
  • Monitor product inventory;
  • Support the sales team with the necessary clinical and technical expertise to enable them to promote the product line;
  • Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in regarding to regulatory affairs.
