Our In-House brand is now looking for a Assistant II - DC/Storage to support the team. Below are our requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Pick up, delivery and collection of company goods

  • Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Assist to proper pack machine collect from consignment location
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, valid acknowledgment receipt, and the customer is satisfied.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Accepting payments(non-cash) for delivered items.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries, if requires.
  • Submit Proof of delivery (POD) timely to office.
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, handjack.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
  • Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately
  • Report any unfulfillment delivery/collection to Supervisor immediately
  • Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenances
  • Work with support team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns
  • Willingness to adhere company operating policies and procedures, assigned routes and schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • SPM school degree
  • Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
  • Valid Class D driving license
  • Valid GDL license (Goods Driving License)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as Delivery Driver
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass and willing to do as per request by company for driving test, background check, drug test and blood test.
  • Valid professional driver’s license
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • General West Malaysia route
  • Packing and handle heavy machinery skill
