idsMED Group has an extensive distribution network covering various healthcare institutions including government and private hospitals, day surgery centers, specialist and primary care clinics, laboratories and nursing home. In line with its expansion program in the region, idsMED Group now successfully operates in 9 markets. The team is now looking to fill an Manager I - Group Learning & Talent Development as per the requirements below; 

The successful incumbent will partner with the VP – L&TD to define and drive the group efforts in building capability through executing the Group’s Learning, Talent & Organizational Development Template (LTO) and fostering an idsMED culture of life-long learning. S/he is to work diligently in understanding the needs of the company through structural questionnaires and interviews and implement curriculum /programs that meet the learning needs across the region. S/he is to develop all related learning and development policies, frameworks and oversee the implementation and compliance across all countries.

 

Some of the specific areas of focus are as listed but not limited to:
1) Program /Content design and development, and
2) Facilitation of idsMED’s in-house learning solutions (virtually or in-person)

 

In addition, incumbent needs to be passionate about Learning & development trend in the marketplace, continuously explore into a variety of learning methods and/or digital platforms which is best suit for the Company’s learning needs.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Overall Learning Talent Development

  • Work with relevant parties stakeholders to analyze learning and development needs that are critical to deliver business objectives results.
  • Evaluate and collaborate with external trainers on any necessary learning solutions for targeted groups.
  • Manage internal learning’s marketing and communications for optimum participation across all countries.
  • Evaluate overall effectiveness of all learning programs (internal and external) to further improve training effectiveness.
  • Produce timely and accurate learning repor t and analysis for HR Management Dashboard.

 

2. Learning Content Design & Facilitation 

  • Review and revise existing learning program s solutions and make necessary enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the chang ing needs of t he company and industry
  • Design and develop engaging and compelling course content that incorporate learning pedagogies/andragogy for delivery of face to face, online and hybrid courses to equip employees with required skills and competencies to support the Company’s growth.
  • Regularly benchmark idsMED programs to similar programs with the market in the aspect of overall curriculum framework, content, and delivery methodology.
  • Exploring and developing new approaches and techniques for learning delivery to ensure it remains engaging and meets the defined quality and expectations.
  • Maintain the intellectual property of idsMED learning materials and products training information.

 

3. Learning Development Needs for Malaysia

Being physically located in Malaysia, the incumbent is responsible to support and manage:

  • The Learning and development needs of Malaysia employees
  • The coordination of all learning activities in Malaysia
  • The facilitation of on site programs for Malaysia

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degrees in any Business and/or Management fields, preferably with focus on Human Resource, or Learning Development with min. 10 years of work experience in related responsibilities, specializing in instructional design ( design, development, implementation, and evaluation) and training delivery
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees
  • Demonstrate strong understanding and passionate about human capital development needs
  • Able to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work for maximum delivery result
  • Must possess the highest professional and personal standards, unquestioned integrity and business ethics
  • Must be prepared to defend their position on significant issues and drive change when necessary
