Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Project Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of hospital medical equipment supply projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing milestones, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, technical support) and external stakeholders (hospital management, contractors, suppliers) to ensure smooth project execution.

2. Budget Management & Cost Control:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control project expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to financial limits.
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior management regarding project costs, budget variances, and financial forecasts.

3. Deliverable Fulfillment:

  • Ensure that all project deliverables, including medical equipment, are delivered according to contract specifications, quality standards, and within agreed timelines.
  • Track and document the delivery and installation of medical equipment at hospital sites.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure equipment meets required standards before handover.

4. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and obstacles that could affect project timelines, costs, or outcomes.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address project risks proactively.
  • Regularly update the risk register and communicate key risks to stakeholders.

5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the hospital client, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ensure clear communication channels are maintained between all parties and that project expectations are clearly understood and agreed upon.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.

6. Project Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project schedules, meeting minutes, contracts, and technical specifications.
  • Provide regular status reports to senior management and other stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and documented for audit and project closure purposes.

7. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

  • Ensure all project activities comply with relevant hospital, local, and international regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies, ensuring medical equipment meets compliance requirements before deployment.

8. Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor the project team, ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet project standards and deadlines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team, encouraging innovation and efficiency in project delivery.
